How I work
Leading projects
I typically serve as a technical lead on projects, often collaborating with product and design before the problem is fully clear to the team.
Working with product
I work with product managers to identify the problems we want to address, the tradeoffs of addressing one problem over another, and the tradeoffs of viable solutions, taking into account possible upside, certainty of success, and technical requirements.
Working with design
I jam on design with designers and help weigh the tradeoffs between design and technical considerations — oftentimes minor changes to design can translate to significant reduction in time to shipping without compromising on functionality.
Making consistent improvements
I help product development teams consistently improve how we work together by creating internal processes for feedback. That includes reflecting as a team how we can improve our product-development lifecycle as well as creating a culture of effective 1:1 feedback oriented towards helping each other grow.
